Further offshore emergency response team leader
Aims
To refresh Fire Team Leaders knowledge and skills using live Fire and Rescue activities that cannot be undertaken offshore.
Outcomes
maintain communications during an incident,
allocate and confirm the teams duties and task,
monitor the teams progress, evaluate, adjust and communicate the response plan,
monitor stress in self and others,
debrief the team.
The course includes practical assessment of competence covering all aspects of the Fire/Emergency Response Team Leader role.
Note : This course is approved by the Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organisation – UK.
