Further offshore emergency response team member
Aims
To refresh Fire Team Members knowledge and skills using live fire and rescue activities that cannot be undertaken offshore.
Outcomes
enter and work in a fire incident area,
locate and handle casualties,
select and use portable fire fighting equipment,
extinguish a fire and secure an area,
conduct and control breathing apparatus operations,
maintain communications during an incident.
The course includes practical assessment of competence covering all aspects of the Fire/Emergency Response Team Member role.
Note : This course is approved by the Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organisation – UK.
